  2. And I'm glad to see you're back, mysterious stranger. Thanks for checking back in.

PS - Or am I misunderstanding what you mean by anonymous and that cool group of hackers is reading our comic? Which would be awesome, though if so, you probably already know what happens in issue three and are reading the first draft to issues 4 and 5 as I type it in.

  3. I like the change in tone between the issues, combined with the continued development of a single character in different environments. It really reminds me of the old "done in one" stories I used to read in comics before everything got paced for the trade market.

  4. Thanks Seth,

One of the things that Ludo has always been a strong proponent of, is adapting the style of the art to the specific story we're telling. And what I do is think up incredibly difficult and impossible things for him to do. Then he does them (making me look good in the process).

As for the "done in one" vs. trades, it'll be interesting to see how this all works out. We want to eventually earn money off this project, so trades are certainly going to be a large part of that eventually. But we're going to write the individual issues the way we feel they tell the story best. If that's single issue. That's the way we're going to do it. If it's 7 issues that seem tailor made for a trade, then we'll do that, too.

By the way, who said this issue is a "done in one?"

    Bum bum buhhhhhhh!!!

  5. It's more the sense that you've completed a section of story, even if there's an overarching tale. It's like with Buffy, how they'd have a big bad for the season, but they'd still go up against the freak of the week for an individual episode. There was a sense of accomplishment at the end of the episode, even though there was story left to tell. Except season 6 which ended each episode in crushing depression. Please don't do that.

  6. We do have one small arc planned where a bullet meant for Tart kills Tara instead. But other than that we are pretty much just stealing from season 3.

  8. Thanks for checking it out, HomerJ. Hearing that from one of the mods at planetgeeksforum.com means a lot. I gather from your posts you've read a comic book or 2.

For any of our readers, I found this site on Twitter and it's got a nice little group of posters. Check them out if you have the inclination. I've found everybody to be really friendly over there.
